Dr d’Arcy had extensive training in the Oxford region, including training in all aspects of general cardiology, as well as sub-specialty training in echocardiography (transthoracic, stress, and trans-oesophageal echo), cardiac magnetic resonance, and cardiac CT.
She was appointed as a consultant cardiologist in Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust in 2012.
Dr d’Arcy is also trained in Aviation Medicine, having completed the Diploma in Aviation Medicine, with specialist experience in aviation cardiology. She regularly undertakes specialist aviation medicine clinics, and provides opinions for licensing of aircrew.
Dr d’Arcy provides treatments and procedures such as resting and exercise stress ECGs, ambulatory ECG monitoring and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, cardiac stress testing, trans-thoracic and trans-oesophageal echocardiography, contrast echocardiography, CT coronary angiography, and external DC cardioversion.
